An interesting vandaceous orchid that typically produces pink conical blooms, however this variant produces yellow blooms! Blooms will open sequentially from long pendulous spikes. Comes from Papua New Guinea.

Photo is of blooms you can expect from the plant but is not the exact plant you will receive.

CARE INFO:

Potting mix: Coarse bark mix. Repot every 1-2 years as the media breaks down. Enjoys pot or basket growing.

Light: Medium-high light. Protect from hot evening sun by shading slightly.

Water: Water frequently in hot months when media has reached dry. Scale back in winter as you would with a Phal. Once per week is a good rule of thumb.

Temp: Intermediate-warm (60F min night, 95F max day).

Humidity: 60-90%, likes high humidity in hot months with good air circulation.

Fertilizing: Light feeding year-round. 1/4-1/2 strength urea-free fertilizer, every other watering as new roots and leaves emerge. If it appears to enter dormancy in Winter, scale back to once per month.
