Miltoniopsis orchids or "pansy orchids" have striking Oncidium-like blooms quadruple the size. Often fragrant, they grow well in intermediate-cool temperatures and enjoy frequent watering (good drainage is key). Light mint green foliage makes Miltoniopsis orchids attractive year round. Although these require more of an intermediate skill level, they are worth the extra love and attention.
